| - My husband and I were approached strolling the strip in Vegas, 4 different times. We finally stopped to entertain the offer of $200 in food gift cards and $150 cash, plus free slot play etc. when a very personable guy approached. We had no plans for the day and were told "All you have to do is take a hotel tour" NOTHING was said about a timeshare or presentation. he said the tour takes roughly an hour but can be done in as little as 30 minutes if you don't have questions, we just ask that you spend time in our hotel - pretty straight forward, right?
WRONG! We were passed onto another fairly nice man (but clearly a sales guy) and taken through this sketchy back door under the Cosmo. Finally taken into this little room with other couples for a presentation, after being asked to complete several surveys we realized we were suckered into a timeshare presentation (this was my "Oh HELL no" moment) after being passed from person to person, we were offered a few minutes for a potty break before the sleezy gal with terrible shoes started her presentation, this was my OUT! I snuck in the bathroom, received a fake phone call that we needed to leave, and said we must go.
They quickly went from friendly and funny to total jerks!! Thank goodness we never signed anything, never gave credit card info, and after reading other reviews never agreed to paying them money! We were told we could just leave, but weren't told how to get out of this maze of sketchy halls - just left on our own to find out how to get out of there (where we passed the room of balloons and bells ringing)
We dodged a bullet here, these people are LIARS, scam artists, and sleezy AF! If you go to Vegas and are stopped outside the cosmo and offered free shows, gambling, money, flights back to Vegas etc. keep walking! They are liars and want to bully you into a timeshare. it isn't worth your time or stress - don't even walk in those shady back doors.... don't do it!
