  • I love Waterbean! I have been visiting their Huntersville location since they first opened, and they have been very consistent in offering high quality beverages, with lovely ambience, and plenty of space for those who want to stay for a while and get some work done. One of the few cafes in the area with a wide selection of loose tea, which I greatly appreciate, and the staff are always friendly and usually on top of things. I also like the selection of coffee beans you can choose from when placing a coffee order. Most (maybe all) of the pastries are made in-house, and while I might not be a big fan of their macaroons, I definitely love the muffins and cookies! The best part about Waterbean is the Vietnamese specialties! I often order the original Sizzlewich, which is a close-to-authentic Banh Xeo, a Vietnamese crepe. The original Sizzlewich comes with shrimp, sprouts, lettuce, and your choice of sauce. It is a delicious light lunch! My book club also meets monthly in the private room, which you can reserve in advance. Although there were a few complications with the reservation system last year, the staff went about and beyond and helping to work it out.
