| - It was a warm sunny day, without a plan in place, my wife and I decided to take our kid on a tour of a few breweries. Bold Missy was our 2nd stop of the day, and we were far more impressed with Bold Missy than we were anywhere else this day.
It wasn't just the beer, you can get good beer at a store, you visit the brewery to try different beers and learn about the brewery. Upon entering Bold Missy we were greeted with a friendly smile, quick introduction, and were asked if we had been here before. When we were told a little about the brewery and the beers, we each ordered a flight. The Wheat was excellent, the others good. Nothing that just blew the tops off the beer world, but they were all good.
We selected a few games that our little boy would be enjoy from the plethora of choices available. We enjoyed the open doors and patio area, and decided to get some food. We ordered a hot dog and the pretzels, and when they came out, we were extremely shocked. The dog was excellent - I was very confused - but they are some kind of organic, skinless, all-beef wonder dog. And the pretzel was soft and tasty, and beer cheese was good - better than average bar food.
They boost being woman owned and operated, but honestly that is not the reason to visit. The quality of service, the food, the environment and the beer are the reason to visit. It's well run, well staffed and a great visit!
