We had a large group here over Great Taste weekend last summer, and it went off without a hitch. That says a lot for how professional the staff is here. Didn't get a hint of pretension or snobbiness, and our group was pretty mixed (foodies/non-foodies).
Constant courses flying by, the charcuterie was a real standout, especially the N'duja (local producer Underground Meats, which I later found at Fromagination). Also a rabbit terrine that was very memorable. Many rich, savory, rustic dishes, especially the vegetables.
Tiny space, very intimate. We showed up a half hour before they opened and had no problems seating a dozen people. One of the most memorable dinners i've had in Madison in the last 10 years visiting there.
