I had some time to kill, waiting for my husband, so I looked up a nail salon nearby that had good reviews on Yelp. I was in desperate need of a pedicure!! So I happened on this place!
Initial impression, this place is very nice and very clean. The nail salon itself didn't stink of a nail salon. They also had nice tranquil music playing. So the entire environment is very relaxing.
I know I was a walk-in, so I was ok with waiting. When I walked in, the lady closest to the door told me to pick my color. I waited about 10 minutes when another woman came up to me and asked me to sit on a pedicure station. We made small talk and she worked quickly and efficiently. When she finished, my toes were perfect.
But I guess to save time, someone else worked on my manicure. The guy was really nice and gentle. I think he did a good job. Not sure that he normally works on nails though, because he did everything except polish my nails. He had someone else do that. I decided to use a different color for my mani. Maybe it was the color. Maybe it was the polish. It was going on pretty thick so they let me wait awhile to let it dry.
Its been one day. My toes still look great. But the color is already all cracked and chipped. My actual nails are chipped on the edges too! How does that happen?
I really wanted to like this place. Everyone was really nice. Prices were very fair. For the most part, it was a great experience. But my mani didn't last one day. So I had to give it less stars. Maybe I'll try it again and update my review.
