Wow I love this place. Been using Barking Dog Wash for quite some time now and more and more it was getting hard to get appointments. I saw this place opened and was excited to try it. I was able to get an appointment Friday for a Sunday for dog grooming. I brought my Wheaten Terrier mix in for a groom. DJ went over what I wanted. My dog has allergies and licks his feet all day, so I like his feet shaved. The uglier the better usually. Also, I like a teddy bear face look. A lot of groomers have made my dog look like a rat and the poor guy looks hideous until his hair grows out. I picked up my dog and it was the best cut he has had in a very long time. I keep looking at how cute he looks and smells.
I also brought my big 110 lb chocolate lab(yeah she is big but she has had two knee surgeries). I was worried about getting her in the tub but they have Ramps for the dogs! I have never done the self wash before anywhere and was excited to try it. The facility is gorgeous and clean. Multiple people came over to me to help me and explain what to do. I ended up trying the fur buster which is the most expensive wash for $20. They provide bottles of shampoo and conditioner, a scrubbing brush, towels and aprons. When I got to the conditioner I did not have enough, but was given another bottle included in the price. I was there for about 45-60 minutes with my dog washing her, brushing and drying her. It ended up being such a fun and cool bonding experience with my dog. I really enjoyed it! Everyone there was such a pleasure to work with. They even turned up the music so I could rock out while washing. Amazing!
