  • This is not Dairy Queen. Kekou flavours are real and kick ass! They use actual tea, coffee and fruit ingredients rather than chemical concoctions from the flavourists lab. Instead of chocolate, they have ginger chocolate and there is no option to leave the unmistakable bitter tanginess of ginger out. Take your time at the counter and graze the flavours with their generous free sampling. It's a whole new world of gelato flavours. I don't think I've used the word flavours enough here so... flavours, flavours, flavours, flavours, flavours, flavours, you get the idea so go! (Loblaws marketers must be checking this place out as a landmark of unique dessert ideas). A welcome addition to the blaséness that's come over Queen West. nb They also make some great drinks! Forget about Starbucks and Aroma, go here for a Viet Iced Coffe like I did. They asked what level of sweetness I liked, low medium or high, now that's service with a smile that gets me every time, love YOU Kekou!
