  • Come for positive influence and good role model, you'll find plenty! I see kids trying their best to earn medals, helping each other, helping new kids....... The only reason I gave it a four, instead of five, was because of the followings: 1) Pricey graduations: Yes I understand it's all standard testing procedures but I fear that I might need to break a bank to get my child up to the black belt. 2) Overworked instructor: I LOVE the instructor, don't get me wrong. But, there were times that I felt the instructor is rushing through the lesson. Take your time to correct kids' forms. It's more important to build a good foundation than remembering the forms for graduation, IMO. We will go back, for sure. Because you can't find a better place for good role models than this, especially girls.
