We came in and were told it was a 45 minute wait or we could sit on the patio and be seated immediately. Seeing that it wasn't 120 degrees outside, we went for the patio. Our server was friendly and promptly brought us ice water and we ordered our spinach artichoke dip appetizer which was so good! My husband ordered the lasagna while I chose the shrimp and lobster fettuccine and a lump crab cake. So this is where disaster could have struck. We finally realized we had been waiting over 30 minutes for our food and the server finally arrived. While my dish was great, my husband's was ice cold. It looked congealed and just gross. We asked for a manager and he came out and we explained the situation and I said I wouldn't pay for his dish. The manager apologized and asked if he could redo it and make it to go since it was obvious we wouldn't be waiting any longer. He said the meal was on him and I said that was nice but really, just remove my hubby's dish. He ended up comping our meal and I had to get a soda to go so I could tip my server since we had no cash on us. I'm not going to punish her when it was an issue with the kitchen! That is the type of manager more places should have; it was apparent he cared about his guests and place of business and went over and beyond what he had to do. I really really hope he is recognized for this and we will be back again since we love coming to this place.
