Have always loved world market and own lots of furniture from here. But today's experience with the customer service at this location has made me question ever shopping there again.
When ringing up purchases today a sale item did not ring up at the sale price. The cashier told me I had to talk to someone in that dept. When I went to speak to them they acted liked they couldn't have cared less and told me to go stand on line and have it refunded. I really didn't feel like standing on a line behind 7 other customers so I just left feeling very disappointed. It really wasn't about the few dollar difference in price, it was about the attitude.
When I called the manager after waiting on hold for 10 minutes, he told me he would speak to his employees about customer service.
I worked in customer service for many years and know that I wouldn't have kept my job very long if I had treated customers that way
