We dined on a Friday night, tried Malabar during restaurant week for something new. Definitely a huge disappointment ! Took and incredible amount of time to get drinks and appetizers (30 plus minutes for apps ) . Appetizer were delicious ( tried 6 different things at table, all were great). But nothing came out to the right person which is noted in another review also.
Dinner took another 45 minutes after this to come out- horrible . Ordered the skirt steak....extremely fatty and un enjoyable . I pushed this aside it was so bad.
To make matters worse it was another 25 minutes after we had to remind our server of desserts. I was ready to just forget the dessert and get my check. The checkout was a disaster.
Two wrong charges posted to my debit card the following day which totaled almost 400 dollars of WRONG charges. This is on top of drinks that were not mine being incorrectly added to my bill. What a nightmare to resolve....when I attempted to resolve I was told that they would " do me a favor this time" and refund the alcohol charges for the drinks that were incorrectly added. I don't even drink alcohol, only had water during this visit. Still waiting for the money to be returned as of 48 hrs later and multiple follow ups with restaurant.
This is the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant and its a shame because the place looks like it could be great ( nice location, nice ambiance, unique menu) . Would never return
