  • This review is for the restaurant, not the nightclub. Lavo was recommended by a coworker, and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was nice, albeit crowded. We actually had to wait 30 minutes beyond our reservation, but the resulting choice of a free appetizer was complete redemption (calamari - best I've ever had.) I had the Spaghetti with Kobe Beef Meatballs. As a huge Italian fan, I think spaghetti is the real measure of a restaurant, and this was as good as I can remember. The portion size is overwhelming, so eat the meatballs early, or you will suffer pasta remorse. As a side note, my wife's Chicken & Mushroom Ravioli was great as well, but couldn't compete with this. Dessert sounded appetizing, but as much as we wanted to, neither of us could handle it after the main course. I'm coming back next time I'm in Vegas.
