  • I have never written a poor review before but I feel like I really have to share my experience with others so that they can avoid what happened to me. My husband purchased the facial/massage/pedicure groupon as a special treat for me, so I was super excited about the day. The massage was above average amd he went way over our time frame working on me. However, the room was musty and the sheets were very old and worn, I looked twice before getting onto the massage table. I also was not informed that it would be a male but I am OK with that. The problem came when it was time for my facial. The aestician came into the dimly lit room and pronounced that my skin is probably dry and that I was going to need a more expensive facial in another room. I told her that I really just needed a deep cleaning and that I had recently had an anti-aging facial at my Doctors office. (SHE NEVER LOOKED AT MY SKIN!) I was then moved to another well lit room, where she proceeded to fast talk me into paying an additional $50 for the Jet Clear service. . .and did I want the derma plane. I guessed. Once she went to work all I could smell was the nicotine on her hands (boy were they smoker rough as well!). Her dermaplaning was a bit scary and not at all complete. I have been derma planing at my Doctors office for three years so I know how they are supposed to go. The Jet Clear is supposed to be like a pressure wash for you skin, not sure what it did other than blow saline water onto my skin. When she was done I looked at my face and clearly asked her if she could get the blackhead on my forehead and she indicted she did not know what I was talking about.. . .My pours look exactly the same as when I went in. The pedicure was so sub par it was ridiculous but the man was soft spoken and nice enough but my paint job was worse leaving than coming. . . .When I checked out the owner (who seems really nice) informed me that my bill was $95 in upgrades and included the dermaplane which was $45. I was never told that or lead to believe that it was not part of her regular facial. I didnt ask her about the price and for that reason I did not dispute the bill. Overall I left $150 poorer and disappointed.
