What can I say- Business 101- First impression is everything. West coast dominican hair salons are nothing compared to the east coast one. Out here its more($)due to the fact you are in a area where it pays to look good. All and all it was quick and I was in & out within a reasonable time frame(which is a plus). Katherine G. (KG) is the owner and she runs the whole shop alone and she has several assistants(i think thats there title). Spanish & English is spoken here. I did see the owner's license from the State of Nevada. The only thing I didn't like is having two different people working on me( I guess west coast stylist like to have assistants which i'm not use to-because I sometimes wonder if they are OTJ training/ and it felt like that- because the owner was telling the lady what to do and how to do it) Which in my opinion- I shouldn't be charged beverly hills prices and having "Marinello hair students" working on my hair.( If that's the case- then I'm better off going to one of those hair schools and getting my hair done). I guess weaves/extensions are popular in this neck of the woods -so that service is provide as well. SN- My hair looks much better, but I'm going to be on a mission looking for those "growing hands".
Thinking since its a dominican hair salon and I like there products, which is the main reason why I go to those types of salons-I really didn't see any hair products(like shampoo, treatments, conditioners, and etc...)so i asked- I was told they use some(????)
SN-The also offer you hot tea & coffee a lot.
