We just tried to purchase a car there for our daughter and we had agreed to pay for the advertised price as well as the document and DMV fees. We had gone through and filled out the sales document when all of a sudden the price had jumped by about $800 for what they said was a charge for the reconditioning that was done upon trade in. I completely understand a dealership has costs to recondition a car but this was not mentioned or listed. They tried to convince us this was a part of the "fees" which is ridiculous.
So very deceitful behavior at a dealership that was happy to mention they were now owned by Warren Buffet and had this new ethical benchmark. We are high income shoppers but will take our business elsewhere and I would recommend anyone shopping for a Volvo or other car sold at the Bell Volvo store to shop elsewhere.
