I personally like Ryan; he seems like a pretty friendly guy and all his office staff have been friendly every time I've gone in. However, they let my insurance policy lapse while I was out of town for a couple weeks - and I never received a single phone call or e-mail from his office about the insurance lapsing. This left me in a tough spot as I got back in town and only learned about the insurance lapsing from a snail mail letter, and it was a weekend so Ryan's office was closed. So I had to have State Farm's central customer service people run me around in circles while trying to figure out how to get me back on my policy.
I take responsibility for not being in town to get my mail, but I definitely deserved a courtesy call or e-mail. Bottom line is when I'm already a customer and want to keep being a customer and the company allows the service to lapse without a single call or e-mail, I can only assume they don't really want my business.
