  • I did a tour of local breweries in the Scottsdale and Phoenix with my brother in search of good IPAs... with a designated driver of course! We enjoyed Goldwater's the most. The brewery uses sealed cans instead of glass growlers for takeout. This made it easier to ship my brother some Birthday Suit and Hop Chowda in an insulated container as a gift. It survived the trip back east. Note: If you try this, don't use the US Postal Service which is illegal. Nice small bar... lack of local parking can be an issue as it can be elsewhere in Old Town.
