  • If you are looking for a great music venue in Phoenix with an inviting atmosphere and great service, don't go to the Pressroom. First, you will wait outside for well over 30 minutes past the time the venue says they will "open their doors". No clue what that is about but read the other Yelp reviews and it is consistent. Second, there is more security detail at this place than an NFL football game. I want to be safe but this is ridiculous. Once once you finally enter The Pressroom you will be hit with the immediate smell of urine; not stale beer smell but urine. The acoustics are decent which is why I'm giving this two stars versus one but all-in this stinks both figuratively and literally. The Pressroom needs to take some business lessons from the Crescent Ballroom which is the best/small concert venue in the valley.
