  • I have been a Summerlin Resident for nearly 17 years. During that time I have continuously paid Association Fees either through my Mortgage or Rent payments. Today I was really looking forward to a refreshing dip at the Willows Pool. I arrived at about 500pm, presented my ID and gladly paid the prevailing entry fee. I was disappointed to find that the pool water feels warmer then the current outside temperature which is quite something since its probably 90+ in the shade. Staff response to my inquiry as to whether the pool is heated range from yes to no. A call to the Summerlin Council revealed that the pool is heated certain mornings since there's "small children's" swimming lessons. It seems absurd to heat a pool during this time of year. This amenity, which I pay for, should be made usable for all Residents. The last thing I need to do on a hot evening is take a warm bath. I doubt anything can and will be done but I need to vent.
