| - I recently decided spur of the moment to go get a facial because I haven't had one in a while, and immediately thought of Lavender's Day Spa in Goodyear. I've been there before (and had them mess up my massage), but the people were very nice, and they were reasonably priced, so I decided to give it another go.
First, when they messed up my massage, I had booked a hot stone massage, but apparently whoever comes in doesn't turn on the hot stone machine when they get there, so the masseuse got there right about the time that I did and advised me the stones wouldn't be fully heated for almost an hour and she couldn't do a hot stone massage for me at that time. She was very nice about it, but I WAS upset she was only able to give me a Swedish massage instead of a hot stone massage, and they didn't offer me any type of recompense for messing up my massage.
Then, when I decided to call them about their facials, I looked online at prices first just to be sure it was in the range I wanted to pay. Online it said a "basic" facial was $40, which is a great price! When I called to make an appointment, the receptionist said that's the "mini" facial, and the "basic" facial is $70. When I explained to her their online prices were different from what she was telling me, she said "oh, well these are our prices and that's what you'll have to pay". So I said nevermind, I don't want one. She then proceeded to say, "okay, so you want the mini then?". I said no, and she was very rude and hung up on me.
Don't waste your time with these people, they can't get their appointments right, and they don't honor what their website says.
