  • Toto, we're not in Kansas anymore. I believe your experience will depend on what time of the day, what day of the week, and what you might have been drinking! We went at dusk and the street shows/people were just coming out of their crypts. You will see about everything imaginable on the street. Some funny, some eye-brow raising, some WT Heck? The light show overhead and the neon signs harkening back to the heyday of the Casios in the early days are not to be missed. It's certainly not for kids...heck not even certain if it's suitable for adults! ;) On the plus side, the cost for food/drinks here is about half of what you'd spend on the strip. Certainly not a "redo" unless you like seeing some of the darker side of things. But then the French Quarter on a weekend was enough for me too.
