| - The first time I came here, I was in the waiting from for 30min and in the exam room for 45min before anyone saw me.
The second time, I made an appointment for 2 vaccines and a statement of good health, which I just agreed to taking the note from my prior visit. I told them over the phone a few times I didn't want a physical, nor did I want a pap as I had an OB/GYN. I arrive on time and they have me down for a physical and a pap. I also had to repeat several times what vaccines I needed. I was called back and they gave be a copy of my PPW. When I asked about the vaccines, they gave me a blank stare and had no idea what I was talking about. I reminded them again. I was sent to wait outside. I had my 5MO and my 19MO with me. Originally my apt was scheduled for the next day (and I had arranged care for my kids) but they called me to reschedule as their office would be closed for a computer system upgrade. I figured that this should all take 10min. 30min had gone by at this point. They call me back, ask my DOB and come to find out they took the chart of someone else, for whom I share a first name with. I was brought into the room and they asked me in a few different ways if I was still breastfeeding, as one of the vaccines I was getting was a live virus. After that was all cleared up, they wanted me to take a pregnancy test. I told them I had my tubes tied, my husband had a vasectomy and I was also on day 3 of my cycle. They still said I had to take a pregnancy test. So I schlep my double stroller, with my now crying children to pee in a cup. Did they go and get the vaccines prepped while I did this? NOPE. They brought in the first one, gave it to me and then left for 10min. She came back and said it was frozen and she had to thaw it. WHY would you not do this in advance or while administering the first vaccine? I also had to ask for the ppw/records as I would need to get one of the tests I had read on a wkend day. This all took over an hour. To get copies of paper and two shots.
