  • I hate you Garmin Nuvi! Why do you tell boyfriend that the closest Costco with a gas station is in freakin' Summerville/land/whatever - 10.5 miles NORTH of The Strip & where we have to go to head back to Los Angeles??? Other than the adventurous trip into la-la land of nada, gas was CHEAP compared to Alhambra and even San Diego Costco! $2.75/gallon? WOW! We even ran in to grab a mocha freeze & berry smoothie. Freeze *thumbs up* - Smoothie *thumbs sideways* 'cos it tasted more like powdered candied berry versus the sweet tartness of real fruit like in LA. And due to the extreme heat conditions in Vegas, they actually were blasting the a/c - AWESOME!
