Great hotel if you have a remodeled room (we did). Nice but small flat screen television. The bathrooms were small, however.
LOCATION: Bad. It is on the lake and you have to walk about 5 (if in shape) to 10 minutes to the Union Station stop. Unfortunately, you have to cross through the worst places in town to get to town. This includes going underneath overpasses (usually where homeless and drug dealers hang). That did not bother me.
IF you can get the same deal (through Starwood) stay at the Sheraton.
Also, Starwood Preferred Guests get the refurbished rooms and a free bottle of water per day, which is nice.
Besides that, the hotel was OK and a decent 4 star but certainly nothing to write home about.
Also, there is a GREAT little cafe. As you walk out the lobby at street level there is a great restaurant called Cocoberry Cafe. It is about a block and a half to the left as you exit the lobby.
