VERY UNHAPPY!
DO NOT bring your car sheepskin seat covers to Paris Laundry to be cleaned. They do not have the expertise to properly work with them. They do not know how to evaluate the covers for cleaning or even the proper way to clean or not to cleam them. They seem to just run them through without any consideration for the proper care or consideration of these covers. Sheepskin covers dry out in a hot climate and become very delicate. Connect with an auto sheepskin seat cover local or online sales outlet specialist and ask them about cleaning or stain removal. When I initially brought in my sheepskin seat cover (advising they were 5 to 7 years old) I was skeptical about their cleaning and wanted to talk to the owner about their cleaning process and even the advisability of cleaning any more than the small chocolate stain. The owner was not there. The clerk said she would leave a note on the cover for the owner. When the call did not comel I returned to see what happened and I found that it had been picked up by the plant before the owner could see the cover and call me but that he would eventually see the note. That was not comforting. Obviously the note did not say what I wanted it to say because I never received a call. This is not what I wanted because given proper expertise (which I falsely assumed they had) I may have request that they only work on the chocolate stain. When I picked up the cover I found the woolen fleece in certain areas to be hard an caked up. I returned and the owner said there was too much of some product used in those areas and that he would correct it but that I should consider giving the cover away. This led me to wonder about the quality of help or proper training. I told him that if he could restore the fleece I could salvage the cover. When I got the cover back I was very upset because the cover had shrunk and was considerably smaller making it impossible to fit properly. Total incompetence and internal miscommunication on every count. Was not even offered my money back (not that that would be completely satisfying considering the original cost of $250, the cover was salvageable and now just about useless). They are advertising cleaning an item with which they definitely need more education or should consider dropping this item from their list. Am generous giving them one star on this issue. Otherwise they do a god job cleaning and laundering wearable and household items.
