I signed up two people on this plan. It took me about a week to negotiate the deal and it took them about 16 hours to destroy it. I had to meet with a personal trainer while I was there to tell them I did not want to take advantage of the 1 session free just yet. I then fielded four more calls that evening about personal training sessions for free. I then got woken up for the 3rd time the next morning and I finally said look, this is the 5th call I have gotten about personal training session and I have explained to everyone I am not ready to use it. I was told sorry I would be taken off the list and the phone was slammed down in my ear. Needless to say, I went in and cancelled my membership and signed up with someone a little farther away, alot cheaper and alot more organized. More member focused and less sales driven. See, they are trying to sell you a personal training package. It is not you who they care about, it is their sales otherwise instead of allowing me to get so many calls, they would have noted my account on the first meeting and not called my home. Sorry if you have nothing for you employees to do but have them clean something or work with people in the gym who may need the help but not sit and dial the same numbers all day long. I asked when I cancelled to have the GM call me back but I did not get anything from him either. So if you can, take your business down the street or closer to your work. It will be alot less headaches if you avoid this gym all together. I have done personal training in the past. I know what they are doing and why. Do not be pressured into the high costs of personal training or membership. You can get more support from a real gym that is smaller and people care about you more. Even the regulars that go there. So you can say thank you Kihn and Martin, you have once again convinced me not to be a member of a huge gym.
