I was told I have a transmission leak from one trusted auto-repair group in town.
since they cannot fix Volkswagen transmission they suggested me to take the car in for VW dealer.
Typically I go to south Charlotte VW cause they are polite and professional. However, I did not have much time to drive down there so I went with Hendrick because it's closer.
What a mistake! when I arrive they try to push me away by first telling me my car is about 60K which is out of warranty so I will have to pay $90 just so they can take a look at my car. (previously AAA gave me a free inspection) Thankfully the inspection charge can be apply to the fixing cost.
Then they start up selling me things I don't need. they come out with a report needing additional maintenance for $511.04! which is on top of the $300 repair cost and I just previously changed my fluid in another auto-repair group.I called the previous group and asked if I needed those service. They kindly told me Hendrick were trying to sell me the service I do not need!
what a reap off! dealership=stealership. I fixed the transmission leak and left... I don't think I will be returning... and I suggest anyone who is budget sensitive. Also when I was walking around the dealership. the Kia Hendrick people are quite rude. come on, what's wrong checking car out while waiting for service. I do not understand why Hendrick have such high rating on Google. Buyer be aware!.
Also for some reason, the Hendrick VW people act way more snobby than down to earth South Charlotte VW. if you have to go to a dealership... then go to the south Charlotte part. they got better attitude and free bagel is always a plus
