  • I'm writing this review for my 91-year-old mother. This is her favorite restaurant. We drive about 10 miles just to eat here. The food is always good, the servers friendly and helpful, and the owner is almost always there. I've had most everything on the menu, but I usually get the daily specials--they are tasty and plentiful. My mother's favorite is the waffles; they are cooked to a perfect golden brown and served with butter and syrup. For lunch she usually gets a hamburger, but the salads and sandwiches are also good.
