  • The resort is nice but the carpet & furnishings are old & need replacing. It is situated below South mountain. It is close to the Sky harbor airport & minutes from the fwy. We were invited to see a presentation to buy more points at the property & after the presentation we were BADGERED by the sales rep because we wouldn't upgrade. The man got up in a huff.. said something disrespectful & stormed off. NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I BEEN TREATED IN SUCH A FASHION BY A RESORT STAFF MEMBER. Today I was not interested in any more points.. Now I would not recommend the frustration to anyone wanting a relaxing trip. We have come here often & paid for friends & family to come. Not only would I no longer recommend it.. It is doubtful we will return this resort again life is too short to be treated in such a fashion. My reason for not wanting to upgrade was because this property as well as several others in the chain have fallen into disrepair over the years. Most major hotel brands replace carpet, beds appliances regularly, but it has been years(if ever) here. I told them when I actually see that the properties are being better cared for we might consider upgrading.. not now.! All I wanted was a nice relaxing diversion form the BS I put up with on a weekly basis. I didn't need this today..!!
