This is a new place in a slightly odd location in the back of a strip mall. The restaurant is gorgeous and it's obvious that the new owner put a lot of money into the building.
I was in for happy hour and sat at the bar. The happy hour menu was a little hard to figure out. The bartender said the beer prices weren't reduced for happy hour but when I got my check I was happy to see that my Dragoon IPA was 1/2 price and only $3.50.
I ordered the chicken satay and the California roll. The satay came out first and was barely warm. I'm not sure why that was the case since it did have grill marks on it. The side dipping sauce that it came with was very good.
It took forever, like 20 minutes, to get my sushi. I must say that it was delicious with lump dungeness crab placed on the top of the roll.
I'm not quite sure about this place. Give them a try for yourself.
