| - I ended up at Dr. Moxley's office in terrible pain due to an impacted wisdom tooth. When I informed the office of my extreme pain, they scheduled the extraction for the next morning which was a godsend (thank you!). Once at the office, the staff was very kind to me as they could see I was in pain, and Dr. Moxley was very thorough in his explanation of what needed to be done. Next thing I know, I'm very quickly in a sedation dentistry chair, being calmed by the staff (totally in tears, I'm terrified of general anesthesia) who engaged me in conversation to the point I didn't know I was "going under" and then picked it right up as I awoke so I didn't even notice it was over until they told me it was!
The entire experience would have been 5-stars except that I had my surgery on a Friday, so when the pain medication made me incredibly ill, I called the "afterhours" number (Dr. Moxley said it was his cell phone) and between bouts of dry heaves left him a polite message to please call me back. He didn't, but luckily I didn't give myself dry socket. I did have to endure serious pain because I was afraid of taking the meds, however.
I still have to get the other 3 impacted wisdom teeth removed, and I will definitely use Dr. Moxley and his "Moxley Crew" again, but I will schedule it earlier in the week - just in case.
