  • Four star venue, but an absolutely a five star crowd--Vegas absolutely loves its Golden Knights! Round 1, Game 2 was my second trip to TMA for a Knights game (the first was against the Penguins) and on both occasions I was very impressed by the "show"--Vegas has a unique way of putting its signature on everything, even a hockey game. The team is a top notch club, and the music, cheer squad, light show and theatrics of the entire production makes each Knights' games a real event. Having been to dozens of NHL, AHL, ECHL and NAHL venues, I just can't quite give the TMA facilities a full five stars, but it's sure close. They could up their food game a little (though the sushi burritos are a unique arena food find), and the "Armory" (the Knights' team gear store) is not easily to be found by a first time guest. Also, when purchasing some Round One matchup pucks I actually had to got to 4 different kiosk vendors before I found one that could break a $100 bill--loaded me up with $5s and $1s. I guess it just appeared to me that they weren't ready to sell. The TMA staff is, however, very accommodating, and the Knights fans did not seem openly hostile towards the visiting Kings' fans. Oh, and parking is super easy and close by. Although you will definitely pay more to see a Knights game than almost any other venue that I've been too, it's certainly an entertaining production. You'll absolutely enjoy a trip to TMA for a Knights game!
