  • This pizza is an acquired taste. The original DiCarlos Pizza was opened in the Ohio Valley area of the country and is nothing like "normal" pizza. Having lived in that part of the country for a few years as a child, I love DiCarlos. Most people who didn't grow up with it don't like it, which is fine since the pizza is made differently from other pizzas. I think the pizza has that amazing homemade taste you can't get from the big, chain pizza places. I'm very happy there is a DiCarlos so close to where I love now!
