I first had the crack pie in NYC and was hooked since. It's expensive at almost $7 for a small slice but it's decadence that worth splurging for a sweet, salty and rich dessert that leaves me satisfied.
I prefer the Momofuku Milk bar in NYC (went to the location on the East end) where there is a dedicated store with someone to serve me. I also had the wonderful soft serve ice cream with cereal topping.
In Toronto, the Milk bar is on the 2nd floor of the Momofuku establishment and it is self served...and there's no ice cream. After you grab the cookies and Milk Bar merchandise, you pay for the items downstairs in the noodle bar. The experience is definitely not the same as NYC.
The crack pie is still worth it.
