  • Definitely did not live up to the Onyx brand. I've visited the clubs in Dallas as well as Houston several times and I have never left disappointed, but my Charlotte visit left me feeling like I wasted my time as well as money. We arrived around three and the parking lot was packed but luckily we were not charged the $20 to park, and we were only charged $20 to get in. When we entered the crowd definitely was not inside the club because there were a lot of vacant tables. The girls looked as if they did not want to be there; no makeup, hair unkempt, and wardrobe was definitely not up to par. The stage performances were lackluster and definitely weren't worth my attention. I'll take a hard pass next time I visit Charlotte.
