| - While I had a relatively uneventful experience with CP Development/Regent Square Rentals, one thing happened towards the end of my lease that was absolutely awful.
My roommate's boyfriend got his own apartment, and she decided to move in with him. Instead of paying fees for breaking the lease, she decided to try to get out of the lease by lying to RSR, telling them that I was a hoarder and she couldn't live with me anymore because of it.
I was sleeping in bed when I heard some banging on my door at 8 a.m. I opened the door, and two people burst in, a man and a woman. The man was incredibly aggressive. They wouldn't tell me what was happening, and they hadn't given me advanced notice that they were coming. I wasn't fully dressed. The man took a camera out and began taking photos of my (completely spotless and tidy) apartment. He opened my closets and my drawers. He took photos of their contents. He took a photo of my underwear, which was the topmost garment in my hamper. He took a photo of my bed. I was crying, shaking, and asking, "What did I do? Why are you here?" I didn't get any answers.
After they left, I called the office, where I spoke to one of the friendlier staff members. He told me what my roommate had said, and said that it's why it happened. I was a stellar tenant who had paid most of my rent a year in advance, never complained about anyone, and never had any complaints filed about me (that I know of).
So, no, I can't recommend that people use their services. You can do everything right, be a great tenant, and then something like this happens.
