  • This place used to be great when Andy owned it but the new ownership stinks. It appears to be run by a bunch of hipsters that are more interested in selling you parts and/or service than earning your business. I recently took one of my bikes in for a wheel true and to have them look at a creak in the bottom bracket. The guy quoted me $60 to overhaul the bottom bracket which would basically consist of them taking it apart, repacking the bearings and then re-assembling. No thanks, I will do it myself and save my $60. As for the wheel true, they charge $20 PER wheel and needed the bike for 4 days to have it done. I ended up only ended up having 1 wheel trued and the bike still had to stay there for 4 days for the measly 10 minute task to be completed. I remember back when Andy owned it he would do a wheel true while you waited to get you back out on the road and most times wouldn't even charge you. I guess its time to look for a new LBS to give my business too, BOP needs a revamp of business practices if you ask me.
