  • I will echo the other reviews saying it's a trap and a gimmick more than anything you'll do for fun. And you will feel gouged in the prices. In fact, the whole purpose is to take a picture (that is $20 for one) there so you can say you were in a freezing bar, look like you are having a better time than you really are, then leave. Going in you see the ice bar, and sculptured tables, seats, and it's cool, then you suddenly realize...now what? There's no full bar, it's uncomfortably cold, no one is here and there's nothing to do but talk to the person you are with, who you can talk to without the steep prices. You can't even check your messages or update Facebook while you have the downtime. So many rules, it's like being a kid on a field trip: -Leave your credit card with them -No electronic devices inside (they claim to protect them, but they sell pictures) - Hold the glass a certain way. True, they can slip an fall, but why not design them to not be smooth over their whole surface to not be so slick? -Photographer directs your pictures, you don't - No one leaves without hearing the picture sales spiel - You pay $20 for a printed pic, and it comes with free electronically sent pictures. Hey, can I have no printed pic and electronic pics only? No. One person in our party got a birthday shot, which we thought was on the house as she didn't take the drink ticket for it. Instead, after the fact, they found they got charged a high price for it so he got a third drink sold without it being made clear, or maybe a little deception is involved. This is Vegas, and they fleece the tourists-that's what they do. Minus 5 is no exception. I've paid cover charges to get into places, but they have a lot of stuff to pay for. More than you should have to pay before ordering a drink in a bar. You can't close your bill until you hear the pictures sales pitch. They plainly tell you that. I asked twice to close my bill and for my card after leaving the bar, but she refused even though there were more in our party and we were staying to see the pictures anyway. It's not crowded as no one will stay more than 10 or 15 minutes. It's something to say that you did, but really not that fun while you're doing it. We took pictures, saw a few more people take pictures, but then you get on out. Nothing to see or do there, might as well get a free drink and play in the casino at that point. And then you can have your phone to boot!
