  • Central Blends is a brilliant cafe. Right off the bat, the coffee is incredible. Bar none, the best espresso (and decaf) I've had in a while. The menu is perfect. Breakfast and lunch with all sorts of fresh baking to fill the gaps. Even Gluten Free options!!?? Wow. The owner is all about supporting local artists by allowing them to hang their work for a month, for sale, at no commission! Fantastic! The food is great, the service is wonderful and the atmosphere brings you right off of the busy Calgary streets and into a quaint place to relax, have a coffee with a slice of pie (or brownie or banana bread...) I'm looking forward to making it one of my warm-up stops this winter, that's for sure.
