  • Bought a Living Social deal for unlimited laser hair removal for one year at Chic Era. Took 5 weeks of phone calls and emails to get an initial response. FIVE WEEKS! Finally got a reply and was told the phone number printed on the voucher was someone's brother or brother in law's cell number (very professional) and that is why it took forever to get a call back. Was then told repeatedly how "crazy busy" they are (not my fault, not my problem). Was given an appointment TWO MONTHS down the road (this is the available appointment, take it or leave it). Tried to call again to book the appointment after that one (figured I may as well try to book in advance since they go on about how insanely busy they are, if I wait until I go in to book the next one, it too will be several months down the road also). It took three more days to get a response about that appointment. I ended up just getting a refund from Living Social who also tried to reach Chic Era but got voice mail (and a message saying "mailbox is full") good luck trying to reach anyone at Chic Era!!! Lo and behold they are now using DealFind to offer MORE laser hair removal promotions, even though they complain of being too busy to return a phone call to those existing clients that purchased vouchers back in July!! Buyer beware! If you are lucky enough to get a phone call or email, you will probably end up getting a handful of laser sessions instead of the "one year of unlimited laser treatments" as promised on their voucher. Perhaps they do offer decent service, but I was too fed up with trying to get in touch with them to find out.
