  • This place is the very first and only Japanese/Italian fusion restaurant I have ever been to, and I'm really impressed. When I came the other night with my partner's family, we ordered several dishes to share family style which is great for this place since the menu is on the longer side (especially the pastas). We tried the Kobe Style Beef Carpaccio and Calamari to start with, which I really enjoyed. We then ordered the garlic bread, which I dare say may have been my favorite dish of the night since it was both packed with flavor and filling. If you come here on more of a budget, order a couple garlic breads. For the main courses, we ordered the Uni Pasta, Squid Ink Pasta, and "Kobe" Style Beef Outside Skirt Steak. I'm not a huge fan of Uni, but I really did enjoy the Uni pasta for how creamy it was. The Squid Ink makes for a nice Instagram moment, but the taste was somewhat bland (however I do find this common for most squid ink pastas). I also did really like the "Kobe" Style Skirt Steak. I don't believe this is true Kobe, but it sure was tasty. For dessert, I had the Black Sesame Blancmange and the Soymilk Panna Cotta, and I loved both. The savory sesame flavor for the ice cream was definitely different, but it really grew on me and I kept going back for more. The Soymilk Panna Cotta was rich but not overly sweet and had a perfect consistency.
