  • Met a valued client for dinner this evening. I have taken clients there for dinner in the past due to exceptional service and the food. Today was the exception. Drink orders were taken timely but when we wanted to place our order it took multiple attempts at trying to get the waiters attention before he came over to take our order. After drinks, dinner and desert someone came over to our table I assume the host who asked how our meal was and asked that we vacate the table for a wedding party who had reservations for the table. I was needless to say embarrassed and looked bad in front of my client. My client stated he has never been asked to vacate a table for another party. The old Durants that I used to know would have apologized and asked if we would be agreeable if they moved us to another table. They just asked us to vacate the premises. I will not be taking any clients there nor will I be patronizing this establishment on a going forward basis. Nor will I recommend them as I have in the past. Extremely embarrassed and made to look bad in front of my high profile client.
