  • We have Bird Dog plumbing over to work on our toilet before Thanksgiving. This is the second time I've called them, because THEY. ARE. AMAZING. 1. They ADORE dogs. They have dog barks and bird calls as their ring tones. Whenever they come over, my dog gets allllll the love from them, and when they sit down to take a minute, they call him over and he lays on their laps. They are the sweetest with animals! 2. They LOVE kids! They smiled and talked to my toddler, the looked through a magnifying glass with my 11 year old. They talk to kids like they're people, and it never feels like my kids are in their way. They're alight with smiles and it's always pleasant having them over. 3. They have an awesome attitude and are extremely helpful in explaining whatever is going on, and are generous with tips on how to prevent future visits, and will even show me what exactly they did, so I can do it in the future myself! 4. They're super reasonable! I think it's something like 80 for the house call, plus the cost of labor and whatever parts we'd need to buy that they didn't already have on hand. Other plumbers we've called have been something like 120 for the house call, plus parts. I. LOVE. THESE. PLUMBERS. They are sweet, happy, animal friendly, kid friendly, reasonably priced, and total advocates for learning how to manage your own plumbing, even when it means you'll end up calling less. :p So, normally I don't do these kinds of business posts, but OMG I love them so much, and they're so cute with their ring tones and animal/kid love, that I really just have to tell you guys about them. I found them because they had a 5 star rating on yelp, and now I totally see why. These guys are awesome! Oh, and they're super fast too! I called them two days ago, and even in the week of Thanksgiving, they're over at my house, working on my toilet!
