  • I wanted to really love this place as my husband and I prefer boutique type hotels over mega resorts... I came here for my birthday weekend and when we checked in both the receptionists were anything but friendly and borderline snotty. Because we caught the red eye, I just overlooked it and just wanted to get to our room. This place gets 3 stars because it is truly a beautiful hotel with a cozy feel. I loved the decor and layout of the room. The vanity was outside of the bathroom so we didn't have to crowd in the bathroom to get ready. The reason this place gets only 3 stars is because 2 nights in a row there were loud obnoxiously drunk women / girls talking loudly at all hours of the night. On the second night one of the girls in the loud group actually got into a verbal altercation with another guest who was also upset over their noise level at 3:00am! It woke me up from a deep sleep that's how loud they were. Then on my birthday at 7:00am in the morning, I was awakened again by the same group of girls who were now fighting amongst themselves in THEIR room across from us. Yes, the walls are that thin that you can hear everything ! This was the last straw ... I decided to check out 1 day early on my birthday because I couldn't deal with the crowd this hotel attracts. I must disclose that my husband and I are mid 40s professionals who come to Vegas to gamble and enjoy food/drinks/shows... Not necessarily partying. Thus, I will say if you are young and want to party this is the hotel for you. It was definitely a lively crowd and the hotel was very 'energetic'. Everywhere you looked there were scantily clad young women so if you are looking for that this place is perfect ! I wanted to love this hotel but we are just not the demographic this hotel caters to. I respect that. It we were young college kids I would have loved this place no questions, but we aren't. To make it worse I went to the front desk to make sure I would not be charged for checking out early and the young little red head could not have been more dismissive and rude in her body language. Thus, if I wasn't convinced this hotel wasn't for me that little episode sealed it for me. I will say when I finally did check out, the young lady who checked me out at the sit down desk adjacent to the reception area could not have been more pleasant and sincere. I wish I would have met her first and only dealt with her as I may have reconsidered leaving. Ok, maybe not, but she was extraordinarily sweet and compassionate to my experience there. Oh.. We didn't even gamble / eat / drink at the hotel because the party scene was notably evident everywhere in the hotel with loud drunk patrons seemingly at every corner. Just for comparison our previous trips we stayed in the Aria suites and sky suites, and palazzo prestige suites...
