Loyalty is dead in the United States. I've been a continuous customer with Verizon for 14 years. I realize their business model has changed and in 2015 I received my last free iPhone. I broke my screen a week ago and wanted to trade it in but to get 50% off an 8 or 10 my phone needs to be fixed. I asked if the could cut me a deal since I have been a customer for so long. I don't have the insurance, but the manager through the sales girl said if I had the insurance then they could have done something for me. Well, no shit, I could have had the screen fixed and gotten 50% off the new phone. So dissatisfied, low balling the average, I have paid them $10,000 for their services over the last 14 years. I'm done and screw you Verizon. Joining my brothers family plan through AT&T in May.
