It is my first time at Grumman. I like the concept of a parking/garage turned into a restaurant. The design is nice and creative made out of wood.
It is a casual place. You can go there with friends to have a drink and tacos. I am not a fan of tacos, but I can say that I had better.
The place was packed for a Saturday night.
You do not have much options for beer. The choices are very limited.
I was also able to try the margarita, not the best I had.
They should place more effort on the drinks (more variety and better quality).
I shared a salmon dynamite as starter. It is good and do recommend it.
But when it comes to the tacos, I wasn't impressed at all. I shared the Carnitas tacos and the Steak tacos. The carnitas is a disappointment. I wasn't sure what I was eating. On the other hand, the steak was fine.
Another comment on the portions. We are not in a french gourmet restaurant. We are in a tacos place and for the price you're paying, the portions need to be more "Tacowi".
When it comes to the service, the waiters/waitress are not that helpful.
When I go to a restaurant, I expect the waiters to know their menu in order to advise properly their customers. When I ask questions/advise about the food, I expect to get some in return. It wasn't the case here, not even for the simplest questions like what it is your best seller.
