  • This place makes me want to move to Oakmont. I have been in the Pittsburgh area for 6 years now. I had heard of Oakmont bakery. I had tasted their cakes through friends who brought them to parties. I never went before this weekend, but had always imagined it as this magical place with delicious pastries. I was right! Case up on case of cookies, danishes, donuts, cakes, tarts...everything and anything you could want. My husband and I walked in for breakfast - 2 donuts and a coffee. We left with half a dozen donuts, a peanut butter pie and a cinnamon danish. The cinnamon danish was amazing. I also tried a chocolate chip donut, which was also quite good. We will be back, and I suggest you visit too.
