| - Wow, oh wow. What a great place to come for your meat and produce shopping. I believe the market is only open MWFSa, which is a bit of a bummer, but the deals you can score are amazing! Don't hesitate to haggle with the produce vendors, though oftentimes they'll do the haggling for you. There is another corner to the produce area that had a few more vendors and a tea/coffee place. Some will let you sample some of their fare. A vendor was selling 6-7 boxes of strawberries for $5.
Not too much in terms of ready to eat hot food (for its relative size), but you can get gyros, falafel, empanadas, pizza/calzones, Mexican, hot dogs/brats, crepes, baked goods, and Cambodian food. We opted for the falafel that was quite good.
If you scoop the loop, you can do a great price comparison, we found fresh chorizo selling for $4.59 all the way to $6 something per pound. Some places will offer deep discounts if you offer to buy a lot. If you've got a freezer, why not?! Saw a nice seafood selection with some great prices on crab cakes, too.
Do not miss this gem of a place while in Cleveland!
