| - My mom got me a gift card here for my birthday, and my hair was in desperate need of some care, so I booked a cut and highlight appointment here. It was a bit on the expensive side, but I think I got my money's worth!
My stylist, Molly, was excellent. I am actually still good friends with the stylist I had when I lived in Denver a few years ago, and trusted her implicitly, which means I get really nervous every time I move and have to find a new salon, but Molly put me right at ease. I'm not particularly good at describing what I'm looking for in a cut and color, but I was able to show her a few pictures and describe my hair dilemma, and she came up with a style that's perfect for me! I turned down the facial, but the complimentary hand and arm massage was nice. I also took her up on a not-free scalp treatment, and while it was pricy, I can tell it really made a difference for me.
This salon is definitely on the expensive side, and Legacy Village parking is atrocious, but on the other hand, tipping is included-- so it might not be that expensive after all, plus checking out isn't as awkward as at most places. I can't comment on the spa side, but I've had good experiences with Aveda in that regard in the past, so I'd feel comfortable booking an appointment if I ever go on a "treat o'self" splurge. And I'll definitely be back to see Molly again! For my hair's sake, hopefully sooner rather than later.
