  • I attended London Pub for the advertised "Thursday ladies night with piano bar and live Jazz singer". The crowd was mature, professional looking, more women than men. The jazz singer was incredible, she was accompanied by a gentleman on the piano. The singer perform two sets from 8-10pm, songs in English, French, Spanish, Hebrew and Russian. I was impressed with the wide range of songs and languages. I think this was the best entertainment you could find in York Region on a Thursday night. The sound volume was comfortable, loud enough to enjoy the music but yet not too loud where you could not enjoy a good one-on-one conversation, maybe do some schmoozing and getting to know some new people. The crowd was friendly and appreciative. Service was a little bit slow. Overall it was an excellent night out. I would definitely recommend London pub on a Thursday night and encourage others to come out and support this wonderful singer.
